What We Accomplished Together at MP Community Clean Up Day 2025!
On Saturday, June 8, something special happened in the Downtown Eastside.
Reflecting on this past year, I want you to know that Mission Possible’s work has never been more important.
As inflation swells, the cost of living skyrockets in Vancouver, and social assistance fails to meet people’s needs, more people are seeking supportive employment opportunities than ever before. This past year, over 850 people attended our information sessions, nearly double the number that we saw in previous years.
To each and every one of you who has given, volunteered, attended our events, employed our associates, or worked with our social enterprises: THANK YOU for your partnership!
You have encouraged people to believe in themselves and their ability to contribute meaningfully in their communities.
You have empowered people to take care of themselves and their families.
You have inspired people to step out of isolation to join a healthy community.
I have so much more to tell you about this incredible year. I hope you will take a look at our recently published Annual Report here.
With gratitude,
Rev. Matthew Smedley
Executive Director and CEO, Mission Possible
