A job is more than just a paycheck
At Mission Possible we help people find meaningful employment to improve their lives and lift themselves out of poverty. But we know one thing for...
The Cleanest Day of the Year took place this past Saturday, June 10th!
With the help of nearly 100 people, we were able to pick up 50 bags of garbage throughout the Downtown Eastside. We have also raised $35,135 towards the Employment Readiness Program. That is enough to support seven people throughout their entire time at Mission Possible!
We were blown away by everyone’s creative team names, incredible treasure hunting skills, and most of all their huge capacity to care. We were also lucky enough to hear from Carolina, Kim, and David who shared their stories to our attendees. It was amazing to see the impact of Mission Possible, and we are grateful to them for sharing with us.
Thank you to everyone who came out to show your support at the Cleanest Day of the Year, and we want to give a special thank you to our Gold, Silver and Bronze Partners of this event.
It takes determination, tenacity and courage to re-enter the workforce and your encouragement and support for the Clean Team associates in our Employment Readiness Program means so much. Thank you for taking action to support our associates this summer.
If you weren’t able to make it, it’s not too late to show your support. You can join us with a donation in support of our Clean Team Associates today. Your donation of just $25 can jumpstart a person on their journey back into meaningful work.
