A hotter summer is coming.

Your support helps Mission Possible stay ready for people most affected by extreme heat.

This July, help us raise $15,000 to support associates and neighbours facing the growing impact of extreme summer heat.

Environment Canada has forecasted that 2026 will likely be among the hottest years on record.

"A lot of folks are getting sunburned, me included. Not a lot of people have access to sunscreen, or they're just living paycheque to paycheque, so having to buy sunscreen or having to buy water or water bottles could be a little expensive."

For people in communities like the Downtown Eastside, this is more than a headline. Hotter summers can make daily life more difficult and unsafe for people who spend long hours outdoors, walk between services, live without reliable cooling, or work in physically demanding conditions.

At Mission Possible, we see how extreme heat affects safety, health, and the ability for people to keep moving forward. This campaign invites you to help us stay ready with practical support for both our outreach work and our employment programs.

By giving to the Summer Ready campaign, you’re helping provide:

Heat-appropriate work wear

for Clean Team Associates

Water bottles, sun protection, and summer ready supplies

for outreach

Ongoing training and coaching

to help people transition into long-term employment

Community safety

through a steady and compassionate presence
