The Clean Team Women’s Supervisor will ensure women and non-binary people experiencing barriers to employment receive the hands-on training and tailored support they need to achieve their employment transition goals while working in the Clean Team (CT). With kindness and patience, the Women’s Supervisor will help associates become confident in their work, and understand their personal value by empowering their skills and giving recognition.
In addition, the CT Women’s Supervisor will collaborate with the Employment Readiness team to support the development of the Women’s Track Program while providing quality street cleaning services to customers including City of Vancouver, BIA’s, and local businesses.
The CT Women’s Supervisor will report to the CT Sr. Supervisor. This role is team-based and will work alongside the MP Enterprise teams and other departments. Most work will take place outside of Mission Possible’s office, either on a driving or walking route.
Social Impact
- Conduct morning and afternoon associate briefings to ensure clear communication and alignment with objectives
- Address incident reports promptly and schedule necessary follow-ups for resolution
- Conduct 3 month performance reviews with associates according to the Performance Review Procedure Guide.
- This includes setting goals, providing feedback, conducting performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement, and offering support
- Report issues of associates’ work readiness to the CT Manager and collaborate on strategies for their development
- Contribute to continuous improvement by training associates on the job
Operations

Organize and manage day-to-day workflow using Jobber on a smartphone

Schedule and assign job tasks to associates in accordance with the job schedule

Drive teams to job sites and perform CT jobs as needed.

Assess the job site to determine and communicate the most suitable actions necessary to complete the scope of work safely, efficiently, and on schedule

CT tasks include but are not limited to micro cleaning and litter pickup

Practice and promote workplace safety, training associates to follow safe practices and procedures

Supervise associate crews to ensure all scheduled services are completed with high-quality standards. Report uncompleted jobs to the CT Sr. Supervisor.

Report attendance details such as tracking associates working on different projects, missed shifts, and late arrivals

Report upcoming or necessary vehicle maintenance to the appropriate department

Monitor and maintain sufficient supplies of equipment and cleaning materials

Identify opportunities and suggest strategies to increase associate engagement rates, aligning them effectively with the business needs

Education and Experience

Completion of or a willingness to complete Basic first aid
