Nic is Mission Possible’s Community Engagement Coordinator, which means he is involved in recruiting Employment Readiness Program participants, building partnerships with local agencies and organizations, facilitating ERP information sessions and workshops, and supporting associates through one-on-one coaching. He particularly enjoys the supportive and encouraging sense of community and family environment at Mission Possible.
Nic began at Mission Possible in 2018, bringing with him education in international development and economics, as well as experience in research, facilitation, and volunteer management through his work at Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada, Simon Fraser University, and Tekera Resource Centre in Uganda. Nic is also bilingual and will happily chat about all things Mission Possible in either English or Spanish.
When Nic is not working hard at Mission Possible, you can find him baking and cooking for his friends and family, as he loves sharing a meal with those close to him.
Contact Nic if you are interested in the Employment Readiness Program as either a community organization with clients that may be a good fit for the program, or as an individual interested in starting work again. His email is [email protected]
