Reports to: Community Engagement Coordinator
Mission Possible’s Power Breakfast Program* is an essential outreach tool for our Employment Readiness Program. This program is also an essential service and offers much needed support for over 200 residents in the DTES. As the program lead, the Community Assistant will be responsible for the overall running of this program. The Community Assistant will work together with other staff and volunteers to ensure the highest degree of satisfaction and efficiency.
*Before COVID-19, Power Breakfast was followed by our Coffee House Program, which is currently suspended until it is safe for us to restart this program. Should Coffee House resume, this program also falls under the responsibilities of the Community Assistant.*
A commitment of 6 months minimum is required.
