  • $22 to $24 per hour wage to start

Job Description
By serving as an example, the Property Maintenance Supervisor will ensure program participants experiencing barriers to employment receive the hands-on training and tailored support they need to achieve their transition goals.

 

Working Conditions
This role is team-based. The Property Maintenance Supervisor will be supervised by the Property Maintenance Coordinator and will work alongside the MP Enterprise team and other departments. Most work will take place outside of MP’s office, performing property maintenance duties.

 

Requirements
  • Class 5 Driver’s License and a clean drivers’ abstract
  • Willing to complete a Background Check
  • Legally allowed to work in BC
  • Able to report to work at 7:00 am

 

Qualifications
  • Great communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Work well independently and as a team member
  • Previous property maintenance experience
  • Proficiency with computers for record keeping and emails
  • Completion of or a willingness to complete: OFA1 first aid, Mental Health First Aid, Overdose Prevention and Response, Trauma Informed Practice training

  • Supervises and works alongside a crew providing property maintenance services
  • Ensures safety, job quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with customers as needed
  • De-escalate and resolve conflicts
  • Willing to perform other duties as assigned by the Coordinator.
