MP Recycling

MP Recycling is a soap recycling enterprise that employs over ten at-risk women in the Downtown Eastside.

 

Hotels pay us to take their gently-used soaps and bottled amenities which would otherwise end up in the landfill.

 

We sterilize, recycle, and repurpose the soap before sending it to communities in need around the world, as well as to shelters in Vancouver. In addition to a paycheque, the women we employ also get the opportunity to help others in need.

 

Every year, 3.5 million children under the age of five die of hygiene-related diseases, a major concern that we have been able to address through our partnership with hotels in Vancouver’s Lower Mainland and across Canada.
